Education: Bachelor of Commerce from Ness Wadia College of Commerce. Apart from that I have done NCFM Certifications in Dealers, Derivatives, Commodities, AMFI (Mutual Funds) and NSDL (Demat) Modules
Currently pursuing Certified Financial Planner Course (CFP) from International College of Financial Planning (ICFP)
Qualified as Associate Financial Planner in the following 4 Modules:
1) Risk Management and Insurance Planning
2) Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits
3) Tax Planning and Estate Planning Module
4) Investment Planning Module

Professional Details: I have worked with companies like Infosys BPO, ICICI Bank, Iflex Solutions Limited and Global Talent Track.
Infosys BPO: In Infosys BPO I was working on a Back Office Process on Order Management.
ICICI Bank: In ICICI Bank I worked as a Senior Officer in Retail Branch Banking Operations.
Iflex Solutions Limited: In Iflex I worked as a Functional Consultant / Business Analyst on FlexCube (Core Banking Solution) into Retail Banking Group
Global Talent Track (GTT): In GTT I worked as a Subject Matter Expert - BFSI - Banking, Financial Services and Insurance. The work profile was to generate content and conduct trainings on various BFSI Courses. I have generated content for a BFSI Product Selling Course and a Retail Banking Processes / Operations Course. I have also partly generated content for course in MicroFinance, Financial Accounting, Taxation and Insurance.
It is here in GTT when generating content for different BFSI courses; the idea of starting my own website on Financial Planning hit me. That was when www.bachatkhata.com was born. Bachatkhata has articles on Personal Financial Planning, Investments, Children’s Education Planning and Marriage Planning, Retirement Planning, Life Insurance, Taxation and Product Reviews on various Financial Products.

Others Interests:
I am completely crazy about financial markets. I have good knowledge of Equity Markets, Commodities Markets and Forex Markets, Insurance Industry. Also track the movements of Other Global Financial Markets and Global Commodities like Gold, Crude Oil.
I like to keep myself updated with the latest business happenings around the globe. Like reading Business Magazines, Business Websites and watching Business News TV Channels.
I write articles on Personal Financial Planning, Investments, Children’s Education Planning and Marriage Planning, Retirement Planning, Life Insurance, Taxation and Product Reviews on various Financial Products. This website www.bachatkhata.com is a byproduct of that.
Achievements: I recently featured in a Television interview on ‘Budget Guru’ Show. I was invited by Samay Mumbai Channel (part of Sahara Group) as an Expert Speaker to come and talk on Gold as an Investment. It was presented as a chat show wherein the host was MTV VJ Cyrus Sahukar. The show focused on how gold has fared as an investment in the past decade, different ways of investment in gold, features of gold ETFs and why one should invest in gold.
Hobbies: Listening Music, Internet Browsing, Watching Television, Reading Business Magazines.

On the 1st page on the top you will find links like Grievances, Annual reports, Committee reports, Press releases etc. etc..
Click on the Annual Reports link. There you will find the link for Annual Report for 2010-11. In the report you will find all the facts and figures about claim settlement ratio that I have mentioned in the article. The premium amounts have been taken from the respective insurance company websites. You may cross check the numbers.
